FREDERICK NOVAK In loving memory of Frederick Novak who passed away on October 15, 2002 at Riverview Health Centre after a losing battle with cancer. He will always be remembered as a kind and gentle man by his wife Jenny, sons, Gary (Darlene), Robert (Yvonne), and Kevin (Erika). Grandchildren, Zachary, Daxton and baby Jessica. Sisters, Kay Miller, Ann Taylor, and Dolly Gashyna; sister-in-law Gloria (Barry). Numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and relatives. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Lena; brother Johnny; and sister Mary. Fred retired from the C.P.R. Weston Shops in 1986. Fred served in the Canadian Navy in the Second World War and belonged to the Canadian Legion. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. He held a personal enjoyment for nature, loved camping and shared his big back yard with birds and enjoyed a backyard golf game. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and loved animals. His dog Willy will miss him. The family would like to thank the medical staff of Riverview Health Centre and Concordia Hospital for all their loving care and compassion. At his request a private memorial service has been held. God took your hands and we had to part He eased your pain and broke our hearts Well sadly miss you and never forget you You were a wonderful husband And one great Dad and Gi-Gi. We love you with all our hearts Rest in Peace In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
