ANTONIO "TONY" S. ILANO JR. May 28, 1948 - October 14, 2002 It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, Antonio Ilano at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 54 years. He is sadly missed and remembered by his two daughters Maybelyn and Marjorie; his mother Bining Ilano; special friend Van Nguyen; siblings, Zeny Ilano (U.S.A.), Edith Rosas and her children Edwin (Josie), Edelaine (Norman) May (Roldan) Evie (Raul) Del Rosario and children Yvette (Larry) and Ryan; Helen (Rene) Orcullo and children Rellen and Heidi (Peter), Willie (Alice) Ilano; brother-in-law Cesar Barco and children Abigail and Jill; sisters in the Philippines Jovith (Ping) Dasal, Azon (Johnny) Borja, Nelly Guemo, Emma (Boy) Sarroca; nephew Ernan (Claudia) Guemo and children; the Viray family, Diaz family, Cabrera family, Saromo family, Alcera family, along with many other relatives and friends especially the members of the Philippine Association of Manitoba. He will forever be missed for his kindness, sense of humour and friendship by all who knew him. Lamay will be on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29 at St. Edwards Church, 818 Arlington with Fr. Vic Tunghol. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give their deepest gratitude to the staff of Concordia and St. Boniface Hospital for their unconditional care and support.
