KRISTA LAUREN TULLY Krista Lauren Tully of Winnipeg, beloved daughter of Grace and the late Jack Tully, passed away following a sudden illness, at the age of 38 years, on Friday, October 18, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, MB. Funeral service will be held at Knox United Church, Oakville, MB on Wednesday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Judy Limpright officiating. A private family graveside service will take place at Oakville Cemetery. Krista was born on July 9, 1964 at Portage la Prairie, MB. She was raised at Curtis, on the family farm, and received her education at Oakville and Arthur Meighen High School. She took part in an agriculture exchange program for a year where she traveled to New Zealand and Australia. During her adult life she worked at several different jobs between attending university or college where she received her Agriculture Diploma, Honours, Legal Secretary and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. She was employed by the Federal Department of Justice in Winnipeg at the time of her death. Krista enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, learning and enjoying her many friends. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Jack in 2000, she leaves her mother Grace of Oakville; her sister Beth (Jeff) Connery and their children, Samantha and Christopher of Portage la Prairie; her sister Rhonda (Jeff) Keith and their children, Alex and Alyssa of Disley, SK; her brother John Tully of Rural Portage; and her sister Janine (Michael) Ferg and their children, Riley and Connor of Winnipeg. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be especially missed by Janine and her boys who shared Kristas home and life. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham, Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 1A7, or to a charity of your choice.
