WILLIAM (BILL) WESELAKE William (Bill) Weselake passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on October 19, 2002. Bill was born June 27, 1931. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Leona. Bill is survived by his wife Liz, daughter Sue-Ann (Lloyd) of Victoria, BC; sons, Brad and Clint (Karyn) of Winnipeg; and beloved grandchildren, Clint, Johnny, Jesse Kristyn, Nikki, Christopher and also Stripes the family cat. Special thanks to our whole family, especially Karen and Kaye in Cape Breton, NS, Joanne in Burlington, ON for all their cards, pies and phone calls. We all express our gratitude to the nurses and aides at Health Sciences Centre Dialysis Unit especially Marilyn, Della and Meryl. To Pat, thank-you, and Judy for the kind words that would always make Bill "smile". Also, Linda, your kindness was greatly appreciated. Our appreciation to Bills home care nurses Cathy and Sharon and also to Sandy who helped us in many ways. To Raul who cared for Bill for over two years with respect and sensitivity, we all thank you. Bill was an intensely private person, family was his greatest joy in life and we could always depend on him. We will miss Bill, our husband, father and grandfather, very much. He left us with many wonderful memories that we will cherish. Honouring Bills wishes, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice is appreciated. Good night! which put the candle out? A jealous zephyr, not a doubt. Ah! friend, you little knew How long at that celestial wick The angels laboured diligent; Extinguished, now, for you! It might have been the lighthouse spark Some sailor, rowing in the dark, Had importuned to see! It might have been the waning lamp That lit the drummer from the camp To purer reveille! - Emily Dickinson Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
