DONALD HENRY BYERS Donald Henry (Don), aged 58 of Winnipeg passed away at Victoria Hospital on October 7, 2002. Don is survived by his loving wife and life partner Faye, son Bill (Sarah), daughter Sharilyn, and granddaughter Katelyn, all of Winnipeg. Also one brother Bill (Karen) of Bonnyville, AB, two sisters, Marilyn (Doug) McLeay of Saskatoon, SK and Barbara Byers (Gerry Jones) of Regina, SK; sister-in-law Renda Byers; mother-in-law Sophie Perrick; sister-in-law Eileen Perrick; brother-in-law Ron (Ann) Perrick, all of Vancouver, BC; 17 nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Bea Byers; and by his father-in-law Steve Perrick. Don was born on June 22, 1944 in Saskatoon, SK and attended public and high school there. He met Faye during high school and they were married on May 18, 1968. They moved to Winnipeg that year and began their married life together. Don loved life and to laugh. He had a rich sense of humour. He valued his family ties and was very loyal. He had a special soft spot for family pets.
