VICTOR ROBERT JAQUET Suddenly on October 20, 2002, Victor Robert Jaquet, a longtime resident of Little Britain, MB, passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 84 years. Victor is survived by his loving wife and constant companion of 62 years Kay; his daughter Derris Uhrig and husband Rob; son-in-law Bill Ostap and wife Dana; and son-in-law Frank Stoces. He was predeceased by daughters, Karen Ostap and Dana Stoces. His memory will live on through his grandchildren, Gordon Ostap, Jackie Ostap-Bragg and husband John, Darci Seier and husband James and Joslyn Biggins and husband Michael Lewin; and great-grandchildren, Cortni Seier, Emma, Olivia and Lilly Ann Bragg. A dedicated participant of the Little Britain Community, Vic touched many lives as a respected teacher in the Seven Oaks School Division, flight lieutenant in the Air Force Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Red River Place in Selkirk. He will always be remembered as a friend, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Viewing will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk tonight from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Margarets Roman Catholic Church, Little Britain, with Msgr. Louis McCloskey officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Demsas, Dr. Lindenscmidt and the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital as well as the staff and friends at the Red River Place for their care and consideration.
