MARJORIE RAE MARIE WAIT (nee TOEWS) It is with the deepest sorrow and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Marge Wait, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who died at home October 20, 2002, after a fast, hard battle with cancer. Marge was born September 6, 1941 in Portage La Prairie, MB. She grew up in Dauphin, MB before moving to Winnipeg in 1968, where she lived out the rest of her life in Transcona with her family. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her husband Clinton; her sons, Garry and Brian; their wives, Leona and Tammy; four grandchildren, Brandi, Christopher, Caitlin and Chelsea; five siblings, Shirley, Gloria, Tom, Beverly, Doug and her mother, Marjorie Toews. Thanks to "All the Special People" on the Third Floor of the Concordia Hospital. Visitation will be held this evening, between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 1396 Plessis Rd., with Mark deKluyver officiating. Interment at Transcona Cemetery. Marge was a devoted member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society. God did not promise sun without rain, light without darkness or joy without pain. He only promised us strength for the day when the darkness comes and we lose our way. Psalm 139:11,12 Marge is today in heaven with her Lord. She will be missed. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
