KATHLEEN (KAYE) HELENA IRWIN April 25, 1912 - October 22, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Kathleen passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital. She leaves to mourn her sons, Bob (Brenda) of Victoria, Al (Bertie) of Victoria; daughter Patricia Grainger (Wayne) of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Edna Irwin, Helen Irwin and Mina Irwin all of Winnipeg. Grandchildren, Cathy Beamen, Sandra Kraft and Brian Irwin from Victoria, Deborah Warr, Robin Irwin of Victoria, Samantha and Tabitha Grainger of Winnipeg; her beloved great-grandchildren, Kelli Leanne, Emily Nicole Kraft, Jamie Beamen, Adrian Robert Paul Saltise and Kathleen Marie Ring; her lifelong friends, Nancy Desautels of Winnipeg, Nellie Mark of Morden, MB and many beloved nieces and nephews. Kathleen is predeceased by her loving husband Robert Henry Irwin who passed away May 19, 1982. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25 at 11:30 a.m. in P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. The Irwin and Grainger families would like to express their thanks to the wonderful staff of nurses and volunteers at the Concordia Hospital, N 1 North.
