JOHN WALTER KOVICH April 25, 1927 - October 22, 2002 Peacefully, on October 22, 2002 at the Arborg Personal Care Home, John Kovich passed away at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Olga; his children, Norman, Gerald, Clifford, Leonard (Lana), Doreen (Dean) grandchildren, Jonathon, Christopher, Kyle, Samantha and Brendan; brothers, Eddie and Bill; sisters, Annie and Josie; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Marlene; and parents, Leon and Elsie; sisters, Kay and Helen; and brothers, Steve and Mike. John was self employed in both lumbering and farming, which he loved. He enjoyed hunting with his many friends, who were always welcome in his home for a good time. He enjoyed his visitors and card games with his brothers-in-law and all the family. John will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinsons Society of Manitoba, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5 or to the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church. A memorial service will be held in celebration of Johns life on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, with Pastor Trudy Sluth officiating.
