Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMIL DREGER On October 21, 2002 Emil Dreger of Beausejour, MB left us at the age of 84 years. Emil was born February 17, 1918 in Moosehorn, MB to Theophil and Lydia Dreger. He had lived in several places throughout his life such as Hamilton, ON, Red Lake , ON, and Pickle Lake, ON, Vancouver, BC, Milner Ridge, MB and Hadashville, MB. Emil did not grow deep roots. In the years of the 1960s and 1970s he went to work on the farm for his cousin Harold Rattai. Most of his life he worked and lived in the bush camps. For nearly 14 years he roomed by himself in the Beausejour Hotel. In October of 2001 he moved into the Armstrong Manor in Beausejour. Emil lived each day to its fullest and never worried about tomorrow. He will be remembered by his four sisters, Helen Alm of Calgary, Marge Hopgood of Winnipeg, Elsie Huebel of Kitchener, ON, and Adeline Sielke of Winnipeg; as well as two brothers, Lawrence (Mona) Dreger of Moosehorn, MB, and Rudy (Kim) Dreger of Peterborough, ON. Also surviving is a sister-in-law Linda Dreger of Ashern, MB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his three brothers, Adolph, Roy and Albert. The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Corder, the Home Care Staff for taking care of him and to Jim and Gloria of the Beausejour Hotel.
