MARGARET FRANCES FARMER On October 23, 2002, after a lengthy illness, Margaret Farmer passed away peacefully at the Grace Hospital. Margaret was born in Winnipeg on August 9, 1924, to Charles and Frances MacLennan. She spent her entire life in Winnipeg, raising her family here. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years Sid; her children, Sid (Wendy) of Winnipeg and Barb (Josh) of Canmore, AB; grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Shannon and Kymberly; and her brother Charles (Bud). Margaret was predeceased by her parents and her brother Raymond (Paddy). She was completely devoted to her family and adored her grandchildren. She had a passion for knitting which showed in the gorgeous sweaters she made for her loved ones. She had a kind and loving spirit and her memory will be forever cherished by those she loved. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margs memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or Quagga Cat Rescue, 690 Elizabeth Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2J 1A4.
