RAY LAPOINTE On October 19, 2002, after a lengthy illness, Ray quietly and peacefully passed away at home with his life partner of 24 years, Bob Still, by his side. Joining Bob in mourning his passing are Rays sisters, Shirley (Dresden, ON), Sue (Ervine) Kolmegies and Lois (Kent) Kemmis (Wallaceburg, ON) niece Michelle (Steve) Hallmark (Burlington, ON) and many friends and colleagues. Ray loved to travel, to dine out, to sit and bask in the hot sun, and to share his sly wit with his friends. He was a genial host who enjoyed preparing and serving well cooked meals though he ate only small portions himself. Above all, he was a quiet, gentle and independent man who will be missed greatly. Service at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway on Friday, October 25 at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will follow on a later date. Flowers are welcome or donations may be sent to your charity of choice. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
