Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAMUEL CHARLES SUTHERLAND July 14, 1934 - October 22, 2002 It is with deepest sorrow that the family announce the passing of their father, grandfather and great grandfather Samuel. Samuel was predeceased by his wife Noella; parents, Samuel and Charlotte; two daughters and one grandson; father-in-law Alphonse Joseph Simard and mother-in-law Margaret Simard. Samuel is survived by his children, Rose and Arthur, Norma, Aldon, Joseph, Jean and Ken, Charles and Margaret, Donna and Michael, Arnold and Patricia, Barbara and long lost son Milton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as two brothers, Andrew and Anne, and Sidney. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Kerrs Funeral Chapel, 120 Adelaide St., viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Following cremation interment will take place on Tuesday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Brookside Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff who looked after Samuel while at the hospital on Unit 5E and Palliative Care in the St. Boniface Hospital. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Simard, Michael McKeown, Ken Wolf, Arnold Sutherland, Arthur Mason and Timothy Prince. KERRS FUNERAL CHAPEL 943-6688

Hey grandpa I hope you are in heaven smiling down on me right now. I miss you so much every time I drive by your old place there makes me sad but I know u want me to be happy now that I am older. I have a lot to share with you if only u were still here in have 3 beautiful children now the oldest is 5. I named him after all his grandparents his name is Clayton Arnold Samuel Sutherland. I saved yourself for last were it's your name. My 2nd child, her name is Maya, boy she has the cutest attitude ever and my youngest is Neville. He is 2 and he is so energetic.
