Thinking of you today and some of the fond memories of I have of you. Watching Three's Company. Having toast and Blue Ribbon tea (steeped at just the right temperature for the appropriate length of time). Watching your chickadees from the kitchen table with the radio turned on. That summer I read all of your western books and you would only give me one at time making sure I would return the last one. Watching you putter around in your garage (hiding my toys in the rafters so I could get them next time we came back. Playing Crib and winning, hiding your smoking habit from Grandma, helping you on the wood pile, always freaked me out that giant blade. Picking berries up at Chalet Beach while you hauled us all around with the tractor and wagon. How you complained about the price of butter at the Matlock store and went on the same day every week. How you insisted we had Irish roots every time Grandma said you were Scottish. Your Caramels and Scotch mints... Love you lots Grandpa! Miss you! - Posted by: Annie Constant (Granddaughter) on: Jan 23, 2025
