RONALD DELBRIDGE Peacefully on October 21, 2002 at the Arborg Hospital, with his family by his side, Ron (Dad) entered into eternal rest after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 6, 1933. Ron was predeceased by his parents Fred and Jessie Delbridge; his inlaws Bill and Mary Ellis. He is survived by his wife Shirley of 48 years; sons Les (Bev), Steve (Kris), Patrick (Marcya) daughters Judy (Charlie), Darlene (Mike), Valerie (Glenn), Laura (Trever) sister Shirley Scott; nephews Tim and Dan Matheson and families; brother Allen and Dorothy and son Wayne and family of Vernon, B.C.; 28 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Friends may call on Sunday, October 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. Pastor Trudy Sluth will officiate. Interment to follow at the Hnausa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be sons-in-law Glenn, Charlie, Mike, Trever; nephews Tim and Dan. Honourary pallbearers will be grandsons Chris and Jonathan. The family wishes to thank the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre and Arborg Hospital. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
