ANNA ERBACH On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 23, 2002, at the Luther Home, with her daughter and daughter-in-law by her side, Anna Erbach peacefully slipped away to be with the Lord. Anna was born in Poland, where she married Christopher and they came to Canada in 1930. Anna was blessed with five children. She worked at various jobs, retiring as a seamstress. After she retired she did what she loved to do, cooking and sewing for her family. She was predeceased by her husband Chris; and four of her children, Adolf, Ida, Robert and Rudy. She leaves to mourn her passing, daughter Frieda Henney, son-in-law Sid Henney, daughter-in-law Lorraine Erbach, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thank you to the staff at Luther Home who looked after Anna with care the last few years. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Flora Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made Trinity Lutheran Church, 265 Flora Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 2R2; Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 2G9, or to a charity of ones choice.
