FLORENCE (TONI) A. BUCHANAN On Thursday, October 24, 2002, Toni died at the age of 81 years, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, with her beloved husband Jack at her bedside. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Treva Buckberrough and Judy Young; grandchildren, Cathy Franceschetti (Dino), Andrea, Mike (Sandra), and Ross Buckberrough (Colleen) nine great-grandchildren; and by her sisters, Audrey Hart and Kay Gillies. Toni was born in Brandon and moved to Winnipeg at a young age. She often spoke of her happy home and her wonderful parents, George and Vera Moll. It was on Greenwood Street where she met her husband Jack who she just celebrated 60 years of marriage with. Toni was a kind, warm, giving, and faithful friend to everyone she met. No matter what challenges she faced, she did it courageously. Her passion was her music and it wasnt surprising to see her break out in song during conversations. She enjoyed movies, reading, dancing, and family gatherings. She loved and appreciated the simple things in life and always spoke about how lucky she was to have such a loving family. On Tuesday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m., Tonis funeral service will be held in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. A private family interment will take place in the Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave., prior to her funeral service. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Grace General Hospital 3 West and the Palliative Care Ward for all their care and compassion. "Thanks be to God."
