MYRTLE BUDD (nee CHILDS) 1904 - 2002 With great sadness we announce the passing of Myrtle Budd on Saturday, October 12, 2002, at Victoria General Hospital. She lived a full and joyful life and we will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by Gordon, her husband of 62 years of marriage; her grandson John; brothers, Mervyn and Harold; and sister Ruby. She leaves to mourn her sister Edith; son Clayton (Florence) daughter Iris Callis (Ken) grandchildren, Budd, Jana-Lea, Robert, Janet, David, Karen, Kathy; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mom was a wonderful role model for all of us. Her zest for life was contagious and she was a special part of all family gatherings. Her style and independence made her seem much younger than her 98 years. There is much sadness in our hearts now, but will soon be replaced by fond memories of the many good times weve shared. In compliance with Moms wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Many thanks to Dr. Shah and the staff of unit 5, Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion during her stay.
