TED EWASHKO Suddenly on October 23, 2002, Ted Ewashko passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 64 years. Ted will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Joyce; children, Linda (Peter) Schreibmaier and Diana and Jennifer; Lisa (Larry) Walchuk and Michelle and Ryan; Laura (Cam) Douglas; cousin John Horosko; aunt Francis Hodgson, also extended family and friends. Predeceased by his father Peter Ewashko in 1981; his mother Mary Ewashko in 1961; uncle Walter Topolinski in 1993. Ted grew up in Winnipeg where he attended the University of Manitoba, and achieved a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for the Department of National Defence for over 30 years. Since retirement he has taught computer programming on a part time basis at Red River College and the Midwestern School of Business. Ted was very involved with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Funeral service will take place in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., Friday, November 1 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Donna Mahussier officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Teds memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6, or charity of your choice. Thank you to paramedics, City of Winnipeg, emergency room staff, Dr. Macek and nursing staff of Grace Hospital. Ever Loved ...
