Offer Condolences or MemoryANNETTE FITCH (BOLAND, WILLMS) (nee PARENTY) Annette Jeanne Cecile Fitch passed away suddenly on October 16, 2002, at Mission Memorial Hospital, Mission, BC, at the age of 52. She is survived by her husband Richard Fitch; son Jeff Boland and his wife Yvonne; grandson Zachary; her daughter Pamela Boland and her fiance Craig and her son Nathan Boland and his fiancee Michelle, all of Mission. She is survived by her in-laws, Herb and Frances Fitch of Broadview, SK. Also surviving are her brother Jean-Pierre Parenty, his wife Linda and nieces, Christine and Chantal; her sister Marie-Paule Woodrow, husband Allen and nephew Vince, his wife Barbara and children, Danny and Leah, all of Winnipeg. Annette was predeceased by her father Fernand Parenty and her mother Jeanne Parenty (nee Griffion). Annette was born in Otterburne, MB, and went to school in St. Pierre. She entered the teaching field and taught for many years in the St. Boniface and Transcona Springfield School Divisions. Her last teaching position in Winnipeg was as vice-principal at Royal School in Charleswood. She moved to British Columbia and assumed positions in the Mission area. At her passing she was on the staff of Mission Senior Secondary, a French immersion school. She was a dedicated educator and will be greatly missed by the students and faculty at Mission Senior Secondary. Her legacy will live on in the minds of her current and former pupils and colleagues. A memorial service took place on Monday, October 21 at 3:30 p.m. at the Northside Community Church, 33507 Dewdney Trunk Rd., Mission, BC.
