JAKE ISAAC Passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 73 years. He was born on May 9, 1929 in Silberfeld, MB. Jake worked in the Eatons china department for a number of years until he was advised to move to British Columbia for health reasons. Jake then worked as a custodian for the Chilliwack School District for 20 years until he was forced to retire in 1985 because of progressing Multiple Sclerosis. Funeral services were held in Gretna Bergthaler Church on September 29, and he was laid to rest beside his parents, the late Franz and Neta Isaac, in the Gretna Cemetery. Pastor Rudy Franz and Albert Martens officiated. Jake is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen; sons, Carey (Debra) of Winnipeg, and Robert (Theresa) of Abbotsford, BC; and daughters, Glenda (Warren) of Edmonton, AB, and Kimberly of Chilliwack. He leaves four grandchildren, Tyler, Danielle, Katie, and Jacob.
