KENNETH HUGH McGREGOR 1922 - 2002 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Kenneth Hugh McGregor at Grace Hospital on October 25, 2002. Beloved husband of Dyla; father of Kim (Trellis), Dwayne; grandfather to Ashley, Benjamin, Tamara, Callahan McGregor. Ken is also survived by his sister Helen (Ken), Forscutt of British Columbia, sister-in-law Mary (Max) Caldwell of Reston, MB, Katherine Mollard of Stonewall, MB, Jack (Pat) Duncan of Austin, MB, Doreen Duncan of The Pas, MB, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents John, and Jean McGregor and brothers-in-law Ronnie Mollard and Colin Duncan. Ken was born on May 6, 1922, to John and Jean in Sydney, MB. As a young man Ken came to Winnipeg to attend Dominion Business College and graduated in March 1943. Ken and Dyla married September 16, 1950, and together raised two sons, Kim and Dwayne. Ken worked for Mcleods for 25 years, then Yetmans Ltd. for another 15 years before his health forced him to retired. Ken and Dyla celebrated 52 years of marriage. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 North at the Grace Hospital for all their care and support. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m. at McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Pl. with Rev. Wendy Rankin officiating. Interment and reception will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Kens memory to The Clubhouse of Winnipeg, 172 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B6.
