Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH "KEN" MULLEN September 27, 1961- October 21, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, father and special uncle. He leaves to mourn his children, Tim and Patti; mother, Charlotte; sisters, Kathy (Brett), Sheila (Colin) and Sharon; grandfather, John Small; special niece, Alyssa; and the mother of his children, Janet Beattie (Sinclair). Ken was predeceased by his baby sister, Ramona and his father John. Ken was born in Montreal, QC and moved to Winnipeg at the age of six months, where he resided for the majority of his life. Ken was a man of numerous talents including music, writing and art. He was employed over the years by St. Johns Music, Allied TV & Audio, Westair Sales, Westcan Industrial Fasteners, Concordia Hospital and most recently, the Deer Lodge Centre. Ken also volunteered with CNIB and Scouts Canada. His quick wit and story telling always enlightened his many coworkers, patients, family and friends and he will be best remembered for his fascination with the Kennedy era, his love of music, his knowledge of trivia and his love for his children. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 28 at Our Lady of Victory Memorial Church with a reception immediately following.
