CHRISTINA PAISLEY (nee Hawthorne) May 27, 1919 - October 16, 2002 Peacefully, at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, Mom passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered as Mother to Jackie (Rick) of Burnaby, BC, Patti (Dieter) of Winnipeg and Alan of Winnipeg; Nana to Carmin (Jason), Jared (Mimi) and Heather; and sister to Lydia Behan and family in Vancouver, and Tommy Hawthorne and family of Medicine Hat. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her brother Edward Hawthorne and sister Peggy Hawthorne. Mom grew up in Thunder Bay, ON, moving to Winnipeg as a young woman. She lived most of her years here raising her family and working in retail sales. We are so thankful to the staff of the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg for their extraordinary love, compassion and care given to our Mom over the last two years. We will miss you, Mom. See you again in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christinas honour may be made to the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, 276 Hugo St. N., Winnipeg, MB, R3M 2N6. Cremation has taken place.
