PEARL MEDVED With great sadness we announce the passing of Pearl Medved, aged 61 on Sunday, October 27, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Bella and Jack Medved; and a niece Marla Feinstein. She is survived by her sister Lillian Feinstein (Lloyd), nephew Lewis Feinstein (Alana), and niece Lynne Byrne (Bill), and cousins, Marvin Medved and Dr. Arnold Medved, as well as her great-nieces and nephews. Thanks to the wonderful staff and counsellors at the Winnserv office at 901 Consol Ave., with special thanks to Kim Knowles and Leslie Udell and Karen Kowalchuk. All of you made the world a happier place for Pearl by the love, care, and devotion you gave her. Thanks to Dr. Alvi and Dr. Lage and the nursing staff on N3E at the Concordia Hospital for your kindness and help given to Pearl. Graveside services will be held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Gate 3, on Tuesday, October 29 at 12:00 noon. Services will be conducted by Rabbi Neil Rose. Donations may be made in Pearls memory to either Winnserv Inc., 101-960 Portage Ave., or the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, 400-123 Doncaster St., Winnipeg.
