FRANCOIS-XAVIER CHAPUT Peacefully, at the Ste. Anne Hospital, on Sunday, October 27, 2002, Francois-Xavier Chaput passed away into the Lords hands. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Elie-Anne of the Villa Youville Nursing Home in Ste. Anne; four sons, Raymond (Paulette), Roland (Suzanne), Jean-Pierre (Jeanette) and Mario (Cindy) and one daughter Jacqueline (Roland Guigueno). He is also survived by seven sisters, Gabrielle, Germaine, Helene, Flavie, Lucie, Therese and Heloise; two brothers, Camille and Gonzague; and by 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughters, Angele and Pierrette; his sister Blandine; and his brothers, Roland and Norbert. Born in St. Norbert, MB on August 18, 1914, Francois became a vegetable gardener at a young age. He devoted his life to gardening in the St. Adolphe area and then in the Ste. Anne area during the latter part of his life. Funeral service will be held at the Ste. Anne des Chenes Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB on Thursday, October 31. Prayer service will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the funeral mass concelebrated by Fr. Rene Chartier and Fr. Marcel Chaput at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Ste. Anne Parish Cemetery following the mass. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 775-2220. Il laisse en deuil son epouse Elie-Anne; et cinq enfants, Raymond (Paulette), Roland (Suzanne), Jean-Pierre (Jeanette), Jacqueline (Roland Guigueno) et Mario (Cindy) et 19 petits-enfants et six arriere-petits-enfants. Ne le 18 aout, 1914 a St. Norbert Francois devient jardinier des un jeune age avec ses freres pres de St. Adolphe, MB. Dans les annee mi-50s, la famille demenageait tout pres de Ste. Anne, MB. Pour les prochaines quarante annees il jardinait. Il laisse dans deuil sept soeurs, Gabrielle, Germaine, Helene, Flavie, Lucie, Therese et Heloise; et deux freres, Camille et Gonzague. Francois fut precede par une soeur Blandine; et deux freres, Norbert et Roland. La messe des funerailles sera concelebree par labbe Rene Chartier et labbe Marcel Chaput en leglise de Sainte-Anne a Sainte-Anne-des-Chenes le jeudi 31 octobre a compter de 14h. Les prieres seront recitees des 13h30. Linhumation aura lieu dans le cimetiere paroissial de de Sainte-Anne. La direction des funerailles de M. Francois-Xavier Chaput a ete confiee au salon mortuaire LeClaire Brothers. 775-2220
