Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTEENIE KONDRAT Teenie Kondrat of Dauphin, MB and formerly of Olha, MB, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2002 after a lengthy illness, at the St. Pauls Nursing Home, Dauphin, at the age of 89 years. Teenie was born at Olha, MB on February 11, 1913 to Steve and Sophie Krysowaty. She received her education at the Olha School. On February 18, 1933 she married Peter Kondrat at St. Michaels Church at Olha. Together they farmed in the same district until retirement to Oakburn in 1964. November 1979 she moved to Dauphin, and resided at Happy Haven Seniors Residence until her stroke in March 1992. In July of that year she became a resident of St. Pauls Nursing Home. She was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Dauphin, MB. She leaves to mourn her passing one son Ron and wife Debbie of Calgary, AB; two daughters, Ann and husband John Atamanchuk of Dauphin and Stella Mazur of St. Andrews, MB; as well as four grandsons, four granddaughters, four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. Also surviving are one brother Nick Krysowaty and wife Ann of Vita, MB and one stepbrother Bill Maduke and wife of Rossburn, MB. Teenie was predeceased by her husband Peter, her parents, two brothers, four sisters, two stepbrothers and one son-in-law. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, October 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sneath Strilchuk Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31 at 9:30 a.m. in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, Dauphin. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Mitrat Michael Buyachok will officiate. Crossbearer for the service will be John Atamanchuk; Cathy Howard will read the Epistle; and Lisa Dolloff will offer the Eulogy. Interment will follow in the St. Katherine Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery, Oakburn, MB. Active pallbearers will be Dennis Mazur, Mathew Dolloff, Frank Krysowaty, Walter Didych, Elmer Ewasiuk and Rick Marshall. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the St. Pauls Home or to the Dauphin and District Handivan. The Sneath Strilchuk Funeral Service, Dauphin, MB, are in care of the funeral arrangements.
