ALBERT (BUSTER) FREDERICK It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Albert Frederick on October 31, 2002 at the Grace Hospital. Albert was born December 28, 1920 in Moosehorn, MB. Albert was predeceased by his wife, Shirley in 1995 and his stepdaughter Bonnie in 1992; brothers, Edward and Arthur and sisters, Elsie Gering and Hilda Waterman. He is survived by special nephew, Wayne (Lynn) and family; his brother Henry; and sisters, Emma Waterman and Lydia Schedler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert was always smiling but could shed many tears when it came to animals. He leaves behind his beloved dogs, Candy and Cindy. Albert worked in mines and many construction jobs around the country as a crane operator. He was a handyman who could fix anything and loved doing it for anyone. Albert loved family, drives in the country, fall suppers and his pets. He will be missed. Special thanks to Tache Family Medical Centre, various caregivers and Oakview Extendicare for all their care and concern over the years. A service of remembrance will take place on Monday, November 4 at 2:00 p.m., in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Interment will follow in the Waverley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, The Heart and Stroke Building, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3, will be appreciated.
