ARMAND JOBIN On October 29, 2002, with his family at his side, our son, brother, uncle and friend peacefully slipped away to be with the Lord at the age of 63 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved mother Jeanne; his brothers, Arthur, Henri (Gisele), Georges (Gisele) of St. Claude, Maurice (Susan), Ernest; and sister Cecile Deurbrouck (Robert) of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Lucette and Judy of Winnipeg. He was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Close to his heart are: Joanne and Darryl (Simone, Melissa, Demi, Ashley, Kelli) Rick and Jocelyn (Rene and Joelle) Dianne and Gino (Carmelo) Louanne and Mike (Evan and Nolan) Raymond and Cheryl (Eric, Christian and Vincent) Ronald, Janelle, Nicolas, Jacqueline and Suzanne. He was predeceased by his father Albert (1993) brothers, Albert Jr. (1996) and Lucien (2001). He was an avid horse and nature lover and recently discovered the joy of working with wood. For 45 years, when he worked for the St. Claude Creamery (later known as Beatrice, then Parmalat), he never missed a day of work until his recent illness. Armand, through patience and guidance, encouraged many friends and coworkers to follow their dreams and live to their potential. One of his favourite sayings was that "strangers were friends he had not met." At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Claude Catholic Church. Interment at the Parish Cemetery at a later date. One of the most exciting times of the year for Armand was the annual get-together at the cabin. At his request, a celebration of his life will take place in early October 2003. Please plan to attend. If so desired, donations may be made to the St. Claude or Portage Palliative Care, or to a charity of your choice. Adams Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326.
