ISABELLA EVE GILBERTO Born May 27, 2002 Winnipeg Dearly loved daughter of Donato and Laura, beloved little sister of Anthony, Julianna and Christina. Passed away after a courageous struggle on October 30, 2002, with left hypolastic heart syndrome. Isabella will be forever loved and remembered by her grand-parents, Carmen and Caterina Gilberto and Rudi and Margaret Sarbacher. She will always be cherished in the hearts of her Aunties and Uncles, Josie (Val), Geri (Nick), Rocchina (Mike), Rosa, Curt (Gisele), godmother Ingrid (Dirk) and godfather Gino, along with her many cousins and friends. Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at NICU at Childrens Hospital with special acknowledgement to Isabellas primary nursing team, Julie, Stephanie, Tanya and Shannon, for their tender and compassionate care. We also wish to thank Isabellas cardiologist Dr. A. Divekar for his ongoing advocacy and support. A special thanks goes to our friends at the Variety Childrens Heart Centre. A very special thank you to Deb Armitage of NICU for the friendship and love she extended to our family. We also wish to thank the staff of the Royal Bank Downtown for their support. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Variety Childrens Heart Centre at 685 William Ave. would be greatly appreciated in Isabellas memory. God knew that she was suffering, That the hills were hard to climb, So He closed her weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace be thine". Away in the beautiful hills of God By the valley of rest so fair, Sometime, some day, we know not when, We will meet our loved one there. Gods garden now will bloom One extra little rosebud.
