Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBINA MARY ABRAM 1912 - 2002 With great sadness, the family announces the death of "Aunt Mary" on October 31, 2002, at Lions Personal Care Centre, at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by sister Anne Platford, brother Bill Abram, nephew Ken Macdonald and niece Irene McKecknie. Mary is survived by sisters, Jane Macdonald (Winnipeg), Nell Cuther (British Columbia) brother Jack Abram (England) and eight nieces/nephews and their families. In spite of her disability, our "Aunt Mary" was admired for her independence and was an inspiration for us all. Her sense of humour and zest for life endeared many friends and all family members. Mary was born in Winnipeg and over the years was secretary, bookkeeper and office manager. The highlight of her career was time spent in Perris, CA, working for seven arson investigators. She had many stories to tell and was very proud of her accomplishments. She did beautiful needle work, loved music and literature, always keeping busy. Aunt Mary expressed her gratitude to all those who celebrated her 90th birthday with her on October 26, 2002. "I love you all." A service of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, November 6, 11:00 a.m., in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. The family expresses their gratitude to Dr. M. Shojania and staff at CancerCare, St. Boniface unit. Also the staff on 3 East at Riverview Health Centre. A very special thank you and appreciation is extended to all staff on the 4th floor, Lions Personal Care Centre, for your loving care and family support. "Memories will keep you near to us."
