Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE NICHOLLS On Saturday, October 26, 2002, Mr. Maurice Nicholls passed away at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn his passing wife and friend Glenda; his brother Fred; and sisters, Eva and Pat (Fred). He is also survived by his children, Yvonne, Kevin, Glenn, Nadine (Danny), Tara (Sherriff) and Steven (Natalia) 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, both in Canada and in England. He was predeceased by his mother Mary; father Fred; and younger sister Violet. Maurice was born in London, England in 1932. While living in England, he worked in the tailoring industry for many years. In 1960, he married Glenda McMorris. Glenda and Maurice began their married life in London. In 1966, they, with their growing family migrated to Glendas hometown of Winnipeg. After immigrating, Maurice worked at various jobs before settling at Canada Metal, where he was well liked and respected by his peers for both his quiet demeanour and fine craftsmanship. Maurice retired from Canada Metal in 1995. Maurice endeavoured to provide for his large family to the best of his ability and, without fail, put their needs before his own.
