Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN JOSEPH TROSKY (TINY) With deepest sadness, we announce the passing of John Trosky on October 31, 2002, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Winnipeg on May 19, 1924. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 1972, his brother Peter, sister Mary and grandson Joseph. John leaves his companion and life mate of many years, Hazel; his children, Jackie, Ken (Marty) and Joe; also Hazels children, George Gary (Calgary) and Rodney (Vernon, BC) also son-in-law Curt Park; his sisters, Anne, Rose and Nellie; grandchildren, Johnathon, Jennifer, Jason and Jeffrey; and great-grandchildren. He served overseas with the Brockville Rifles in the Second World War and is a member of the Gimli Legion. On his return from the war, he started working for Bryces Bakery and later with McGavins from where he retired. The past 15 years he has spent in Sandy Hook, enjoying his golf and his home. We wish to thank all our friends for their support in our time of need. Also to thank all the doctors and nurses and all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, and Dr. Maryanne Krahn and all the staff at CancerCare. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns memory to a charity of ones choice. Johns wish was for all his friends to go out and enjoy many games of golf. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
