JOHN (JOAO) HORACIO REIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad and friend, John, who passed away on October 6, 2002, at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto, ON. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Michael, Matthew and their mother Eleanor of Winnipeg; Johns mother Alcidia; sisters, Ana Maria and Conceicao; brothers, Francisco, Benjamin, Domingos, Manuel, Mario and numerous nieces and nephews of Ontario as well as many friends in Winnipeg and Ontario. John was born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal, on May 16, 1955. He immigrated to Canada in 1971 and later making Winnipeg his home for 28 years. John was happiest working outdoors, especially during his time with BA Construction. He loved gatherings with family and friends. John always enjoyed his camping trips and fishing with his sons. He will be sadly missed by all. Memorial service and burial took place on October 10, 2002, in Toronto, ON. I have loved - and in return I have been loved. I have given - and received a hundredfold. I have suffered - and kept the pains within myself. I have searched - and with your help have found. I accepted - and borne it with a smile And now, for you, dear God I have died.
