OLGA SMITH (nee ROMANCE) It is with great sadness the family announces the sufdden passing of Olga Smith at home on October 31, 2002 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Walter Romance; and son Donald. Let to cherish Olgas memory, are daughters, Wendy, and Patricia (George) grandchildren, Richard, Adam and David. Also left to mourn are Olgas brothers, Bill (Marilyn), Edward and Bob (Vivian), of Winnipeg and numerous family and friends. Mom worked for the past 22 years at Wilsons Auto Electric and was a member of Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish. Mom was an out-going and friendly person and leaves behind many friends from work, church and her apartment building. In her later years of life, Mom found peace and joy in daily living. Mom was generous and had a positive attitude in life, always seeing the good in people. Family was very important to Mom and she greatly looked forward to family gatherings. Mom had an incredible talent for knitting, crocheting and needlework, showing wonderful workmanship. Her perogies were second to none. Mom was always willing to lend a hand and her daughters appreciated the help she gave. Mom was looking forward to retirement so she could spend more time with family, friends and doing the things she loved to do. She will be deeply missed. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Munroe and Watt St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rev. Darren Kawiuk officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Olgas memory to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish or to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
