MIKE YAREMKIEWICH 1922 - 2002 It is with deepest sadness that we announce the peacefully passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, brother and uncle Mike Yaremkiewich who passed away Saturday, November 2, 2002. Mike was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary; his brother Steve; and his sister Jessie. Memories of his kind heart and jovial spirit will be forever cherished by his three children, son Don (Adeline) Tanya (Carlos), Theresita, Carlos Jr., Tara (Kevin), Erica, Ashtyn and Tina. Daughter Florence (Andy) Barylski, Karen and Kevin, son Jim (Gloria) Christopher and Clinton; his sister Lena Mushmanski; and many nieces and nephews. Farming was dads life and his family was his pride and joy especially his grandchildren. He was a good father who accepted willingly any challenge that God set before him: the biggest was that of raising his children after his beloved wife passed away. Mike worked very hard but also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed his retired years in Arborg by travelling, fishing and going to Chicken Chef daily, where hed meet his friends to discuss life. His ready smile and joking manner will be remembered by all. Pallbearers will be his pride and joy, his grandchildren. Special thanks to the home care workers and Virginia for your compassion and help given to Dad. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arborg. We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered,"Come to Me". You didnt deserve what you went through, So He took you home to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arborg, MB. Dad, well always love you. Rest in Peace Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
