FRANCIS KRETOWSKI After a brief struggle with cancer, Francis Kretowski, formerly of Gimli, passed away at the age of 79, on Monday, November 4, 2002 at the Maples Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. Left to cherish her memory is daughter Shirley (Tony) Suchy, grandchildren, Chris (Christen) Suchy, Colleen Suchy, and great-granddaughter Danelle Rougeau; son Carl (Cathy) and granddaughter Nicole Kretowski; brother Michael (Eleanor) Parr; sister-in-law Nettie Tanner; and many other family and friends. Francis was predeceased by her parents, Kasimir and Katherine Paracholski; husband Frank in 1978; grandson Darrin; great-grandson Tyler; and sisters, Helen Zayac and Mary Kozlowski. Francis was a devoted member of the St. Michaels Church in Gimli and was an active member of the C.W.L. She was a resident of the Maples Personal Care Home for the past three years and had participated in many of the activities and outings there. Francis took pride in her family and was always concerned with their health and happiness, especially her only great-grand-daughter Danelle, whom she adored. She was a loving and thoughtful person. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Gimli. Interment will follow in the St. Michaels Cemetery, North Foley. Her pallbearers will be John Peiluck, grandchildren, Chris, Colleen and Nicole, and nephews, David Zayac and Douglas Tanner. May you rest in peace.
