Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGENEVIEVE LABERGE (nee ANDRE) Peacefully, on Nov-ember 3, 2002, our mother Genevieve passed away at St. Boniface Hospital from complications of a stroke. She was predeceased by her husband Jean-Paul and four sisters. She is survived by six loving sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Her spirit lives on in her eight children, Bertrand, Roger, Claude (Anita), Therese, Lucille (Ed), Jeanine (Mel), Diane (Dave), and Laurent; as well as her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Genevieve was born in St. Labre, MB on July 11, 1918. Her fondest memories were of growing up on the family farm with her 10 sisters in a home full of love and laughter. She sang like an angel and soloed with the church choir and at area dances as a young girl. Once she moved to Winnipeg and married Jean-Paul, everything revolved around raising her family. How her children laughed and listened in awe at the stories she told about her days on the farm, of special friendships and the fun times she shared with her sisters and childhood friends. She dedicated the rest of her life to raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. Her sense of humour and "joie de vivre" will truly be missed. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Kredentser, the nursing staff and aides at the St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and support during her remaining days. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass celebrating Genevieves life will be held on Friday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martyrs Canadiens, 289 Dussault Ave. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Arrangements have been entrusted to: EDWARD J.
