CARIN DOROTHEA REGIER Carin was born January 16, 1944 and taken to heaven November 3, 2002. Carin arrived in the St. Boniface Hospital, the fourth child of Abram and Vera Regier of Arnaud. Carin was not an average baby, she was handicapped, an Angel. Good medical attention, lots of parental love and Gods will enabled her to persevere over many childhood illnesses. Carin was always a happy person and loved all those who entered into her life. The parents, Abram and Vera, gave Carin good care at home until their passing. In January 1990 she moved into the Shalom care facility in Winnipeg. Carin enjoyed a family environment, mental and physical support and lots of love from all the management and staff at Shalom. Carin became seriously ill on October 27 and was admitted to Seven Oaks Hospital. She was taken to heaven in the early hours of November 3 after family and friends said their last "Good Byes" during the afternoon and evening of the previous day. A memorial service will be at the Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 6. Interment will follow in the Arnaud Mennonite Church Cemetery, 2:30 p.m., the same day. In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions in Carins name may be made to Shalom Residential Home. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
