WLADISLAW "WILLY" ZACHOR Peacefully, following a lengthy illness, on November 4, 2002, Wladislaw "Willy" Zachor, aged 80 years, passed away with his family by his side. Willy will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Puring Reyes; family, Nory Tanabe and Vir and Lina dela Cruz, from the Philippines, Jose and Mila Reyes, Nomi Reyes, from Virginia Beach, USA, nieces/nephews, Tina Morelli and husband Brian Boese, Angela Morelli, Marco Morelli and wife Heidi Holst and Andre Martens, all from Winnipeg. Arnel and David Reyes, Ingrid and Fernando, Mary Jane and husband, Michele and Lissa Reyes, all from Virginia Beach, USA. Noridel and Lito Culanag, Noel and Racquel Tanabe, Linver and Trining, Lervin, Ma. Lorivi, Laviel and Mary Lubery dela Cruz, all from the Philippines. Cousins, Nestor and Adel Ponce and family, Pepay and Presing Ledda of Winnipeg, MB. Special friends, Cris and Lita de Guzman, Syd and Marie Pukalo, plus too many other friends to mention. Willy served in the Polish Army during the Second World War. He worked at the Canadian Pacific Railroad for 27 years as a tailor, messenger and crew driver. "Uncle Willy" as he was fondly known, had a great sense of humour and was always entertaining friends and family with his memorable life stories. Lamay will take place on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8 in Leatherdale Gardiner Chapel, from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Mother of the Church Parish, 85 Kirkbridge Dr., Fort Garry. Interment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be Syd Pukalo, Jose Reyes, Andre Martens, Cris de Guzman, Nestor Ponce, and Marco Morelli. Thank you to all the staff of St. Boniface Hospital.
