ADAM OTTO ANTONIO December 28, 1914 - November 4, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather Adam Otto Antonio on November 4, 2002 at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. Adam was predeceased by his beloved wife Vivienne in 1989; grandson Kevin in 1994; brothers, Mike, Metro, Dan, John; and sisters, Anne and Helen. He will be dearly missed by his children, Carroll (Ron) Stucky of Grande Prairie, AB, Dell-Anne Gowler of London, ON, Robert (Corliss), Allan and daughter-in-law Linda; grandchildren, Scott (Cheryl), Shannon (Frank), Jennalee, Cassia (Terry), Hayley, Chad, Todd and Marla; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trey and Keana; and many nieces and nephews. Adam was born in Ketchen, SK where he met his wife Vivienne while attending Niche Hills School. Adam and Vivienne married in Preeceville, SK on December 11, 1941. Soon after their marriage Adam was stationed in Toronto in the Army and eventually settled in Winnipeg to raise their family. He was an engraver at Bonar & Bemis until his early retirement gave him the initiative to begin his own business. Adam enjoyed camping, fishing, curling, bowling, walking and dancing. He held many positions within No. 9 Royal Canadian Legion and the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.). The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to those who visited Adam during his stay at K.P.C.C. Also thank you to the special people at K.P.C.C. who will be remembered for their kindness to Adam. At Adams request, cremation has already taken place. Memorial service will take place on Friday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Adams memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
