Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryINGRID CARLSON It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Ingrid Carlson on November 4, 2002 at Golden West Centennial Lodge. Mamma was born January 9, 1917 in Tunaberg, Sweden. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Gus in July, 1996. She is survived by her children, Hans (Bev), Yvonne (Eugene) Ahlstrom, Birgitta (Larry) McKay; grandchildren, Jody (Marion), Craig (Kim), Randy Ahlstrom, Shannon Pshebnicki, Kim (Murray) Tocher, Krista Karlsson, Cory and Suzanne McKay; and nine beautiful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruth in Sweden. She also leaves behind her spiritual brothers and sisters of the Silver Heights congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. She died with the hope of the promised resurrection when Gods Kingdom government in the hands of Jesus Christ will have brought in everlasting peace and security; when there will be no more sickness, sorrow and death. Inga and Gus, with their children came to Canada, December 5, 1951. Her joy was taking care of family and home. We will miss your sweet voice in song, your light step in dance, your Swedish meatballs and cinnamon buns. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Friday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will take place one-half hour prior to the service. Interment and reception will follow. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
