LILLIAN CURISTON Peacefully on November 4, 2002 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Lillian Curiston, aged 93 years, of Selkirk and formerly of Petersfield, MB. Lillian was born in Oak Point, MB, daughter of the late Gavin and Evelyn Willis. She lived most of her life in Petersfield and has been a resident of Selkirk since 1995. Lillian was predeceased by her first husband John Carter in 1959, her second husband Frank Curiston in 1997, a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Carter in 2000, and her 10 brothers and sisters. She leaves surviving two sons, Stewart of Buffalo Point, MB and Morris (Edith) of Selkirk; grandchildren, Kevin (Tanis) Carter, Cheryl (Clifford) Hagen, Tammi (Don) Foster, Martin (Patricia) Carter, Lorina (Ron) Fryer, Norine (Kyle) Vogt and Robert (Jody) Carter; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her dear friend Dorothy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nanny will live on in our hearts, with memories of many happy family times. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Bryan Bjerring officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunara Cemetery. Her grandsons will be her pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9. Special thanks to all the nursing staff at the Selkirk General Hospital for all their care and compassion. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
