JONG MAN LEE On Monday morning, November 4, 2002, our beloved husband, father and grandfather has returned to our Lord. Jong Man Lee was born on April 9, 1926, in Korea and graduated from the prestigious Korean Military Academy. He served in the South Korean Army during the Korean War, received numerous medals for valour and bravery, and retired from the Army in 1961 with the rank of full Colonel. In 1976 he immigrated to Canada and lived in Winnipeg until his passing. Jong Man will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Ok-Lim; four children and their spouses, Ae-Ryung and Sang-Ha, Taijoon and Ruth, Ae-Ri and Byung Chic, Tae-Sun and Hyun-Joo; and grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Timothy, Isaac, Sun-Hang, Min-Hang, and Phoebe. The prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8 at 12:30 p.m., also at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die."
