ROSEMARY CLAYTON March 15, 1933 - November 2, 2002 Suddenly, on Friday, November 2, 2002 at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre, Ms. Rosemary Clayton of Selkirk, MB passed away at the age of 80 years. Rosemary is survived by two very special friends in her life, Ms. Jean Bachnick of Regina, SK and Ms. Bernice Lewis of Headingley, MB. She was predeceased by her loving foster mother in 1976. Rosemary was born in Winnipeg, in 1933. She proudly achieved a grade 12 education and went on to pursue a secretarial course at Red River Community College. She took honour in her work ethic and gained steady employment after graduating from college. Rosemary maintained employment, having the opportunity to work in many different work mediums. She did state once that her favourite element of her impressive work history was having the opportunity to work at the Canadian National Institute for the blind. This allowed her to work with people on a more interpersonal level. She has always been a determined and headstrong lady. Rosemary touched the lives of the people that knew her with her willingness to listen to others and to share her experience. Rosemary Clayton will be deeply missed by all that had the honour of being part of her life. A memorial service will be held in the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. Interment will take place at a later date in the Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB. Rosemary: You lived your life in your own way Never fearing the outcome of that day When your heart would stop beating, and Youd breathe no more Cause in your heart you knew God would open the door That would lead you to Heaven Safe in his arms forever more. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
