EUGENIE FERRE (nee TOULLELAN) Paisiblement et entouree de sa famille, Eugenie Ferre est decedee le 5 novembre 2002 au Foyer Valade. Elle laisse dans le deuil son epoux Marcel et ses enfants: Mariette (Tom Ulrich), Leonard et ses enfants Chantal et Michel, Lionel (Julie Mongeon) et leurs enfants Marie-Claude et Benoit, et Roseline (Terry Weninger). Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses deux soeurs, Sr. Alice Toullelan s.g.m., et Virginie Ferre, ses belles-soeurs et beaux-freres Similien et Marguerite Ferre, Theophane et Olive Ferre, Sr. Elisabeth Ferre, Jean, Antoine, Jeanne et Therese Ferre ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nieces. Elle a ete precedee par ses parents, son frere Armand, ses beaux-parents, son beau-frere Louis, et sa belle soeur, Sr. Marie Ferre. Eugenie est nee a Saint-Brieux en Saskatchewan le 30 decembre, 1919. En 1946 elle epousa Marcel et ensemble ils ont exploite une entreprise agricole dans la region de St. Brieux. En 1966, avec sa famille, elle est demenagee au Manitoba pour exploiter une enterprise agricole a Saint-Francois Xavier et en meme temps etablir residence a Saint-Norbert. En plus de participer activement aux travaux de lenterprise familiale, elle a contribue de facon significative aux activites communautaires. Nous garderons toujours delle le souvenir precieux dune mere et dune epouse tres courageuse, engagee et entierement devouee a sa famille qui a toujours ete au coeur de sa vie. La famille tient a remercier de facon speciale tous ceux et celles qui ont temoigne leur amitie et leur appui durant sa longue maladie. Nous exprimons notre reconnaissance envers le personnel compatissant et devoue du Foyer Valade ou elle demeurait depuis deux ans. Les prieres auront lieu le vendredi 8 novembre 2002 au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357 rue DesMeurons a 19h. La celebration de sa vie aura lieu en leglise Saint-Norbert, 80 rue Saint-Pierre a 10h30 le samedi 9 novembre, suivi de linhumation au cimetiere de la paroisse. Au lieu de fleurs, les dons a sa memoire peuvent etre offerts a la campagne "Batissons un avenir meilleur" du Foyer Valade, 450, chemin River, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4, ou a une oeuvre de charite de votre choix. EUGENIE FERRE (nee TOULLELAN) Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Eugenie Ferre passed away at her residence at Foyer Valade. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Marcel; and her children, Mariette (Tom Ulrich), Leonard and his children Chantal and Michel, Lionel (Julie Mongeon) and their children Marie-Claude and Benoit, Roseline (Terry Weninger). She is also survived by her two sisters, Sr. Alice Toullelan s.g.m. and Virginie Ferre; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Similien and Marguerite Ferre, Theophane and Olive Ferre, Sr. Elisabeth Ferre, Jean, Antoine, Jeanne and Therese Ferre; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and parents-in-law; her brother Armand; brother-in-law Louis Ferre; and sister-in-law Sr. Marie Ferre. Eugenie was born December 30, 1919 in St. Brieux, SK. In 1946, she married Marcel and together they operated a family farm near St. Brieux. In 1966, she moved with her family to Manitoba to operate a farm near St. Francois Xavier and to establish residence in St. Norbert. Besides participating actively in the family enterprise, she contributed in a significant way to community activities. We will always cherish the precious memory of a very dedicated wife and mother who dearly loved her family. The family wishes to express its gratitude to all those who provided friendship and support during her lengthy illness. A special word of thanks to the dedicated and caring staff at Foyer Valade which was her home for the last two years. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2002 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 9 in the Saint-Norbert Roman Catholic Church, 80 St. Pierre St., followed by interment in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Foyer Valade "Foundation for the Future" campaign, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4, or other charity of their choice.
