LAMBERT GREIG February 2, 1928 - November 5, 2002 Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Lambert passed away at St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life, wife Joann of 53 years; his daughters, Daryl (Ed), Sheryl, Barbara (Tom) and Janice (Andrew) his son Kevin; grandchildren, Rhonda (Cam), Christine (Warren), Carrie (Stephane), Justin, Marcy (Kevin), Damon (Michelle), Ashley (Anthony), Sean (Sindy) and Andrea (William) great-grandchildren, Madison, Taylor, Cassandra, Erin, Logan, Jeff, Julia, Braydon and Jordan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Dorothy (Robbie), Jean, William (Muriel), Winnifred (Gordon), Lorne (Ruth), Gavin (Ruth) and Lindsay. Lambert was born in Crandall, MB. He grew up on the farm, working with his father and extended family, Uncle George and Aunt Sis Sargent. He was a reserve at the Virden Airport. In 1952 he started working at C. P. Rail, retiring in 1990, after 38 years. Dad and mom spent 20 years at Wendigo. His family always came first. The family would like to thank the St. Boniface Palliative staff for their kindness, support, and wonderful care that was given. According to Lamberts wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined; if friends so desire, donations may be made in Lamberts memory to the St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
