Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJIM MADDEN Jim was born Sat-urday, June 11, 1960 at St. Anthonys Hospital, The Pas. Jim was the second child of four children born to Doreen and the late Jack Madden. Jim spent his early years in The Pas and received his education through Kelsey School Division. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, and learned how to play pool from his late grandpa, Jim Richards. He realized he had a great talent and love for the game. Jim was well known at The Pas Billiards and Bourbon Street Billiards in Winnipeg. Jim suffered from seizures from the age of 17. He lived at home until he was 25. In 1985 Jim moved to Winnipeg to be closer to the medical service he required. He loved the city and it didnt take him long to meet a young lady who became the mother of his daughter, Sandra. Even though things did not work out between Dorothy and Jim, Sandra was the "Apple of Jims Eye" and by the time she was two years old, he was proud to have sole custody of her. Jim later had two other daughters, Sheila and Leslie, who live with their mother in Ontario. Jim was proud to be an AA member, and considered his AA friends as his second family. He recently received his 20 year medallion for his sobriety. Our beloved Jim was taken from us too soon Friday, October 25, 2002 at Winnipeg, aged 42 years.
