FRED W. HOOK 1918 - 2002 Fred passed away peacefully Saturday, October 26, 2002 at Victoria Hospital after a long struggle, but is now at peace. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ollie; sister Margie (Don) Shimmon of Austin, Texas, Marion (Marnie) Letchford of Winnipeg, many nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his son Fred in 1993. At Freds request no funeral will be held. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment at a later date. I would like to thank our friends and neighbours for all their help and kindness over such a lengthy time. I would especially like to thank Susie and Barry, Leroy and Irene, Esperanza, Stan and Linda, Barb and Norm, Eunice Nagy, Jean McMahon, Jean Cruikshank and Audrey Harvey. A very special thanks to Chris, Freds care giver and "buddy" who gave so much care and love to Fred. We both loved you. In memory of Fred, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
