WILLIAM (BILL) KATRICK January 4, 1918 - November 7, 2002 Suddenly, at his residence, Bill Katrick, the beloved husband of Gladys Katrick, passed away on November 7, 2002. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Katherine Katrick and sister, Ann Kalian. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys; sons, Ronald (Christine) and Gerry (Kathy) daughter, Janice (John) grandchildren, Laurie (Ray Lowe), Heather Gray, Tracy (Jim Walde), Brenda (Kevin Ronald) and Shayla Katrick; and great-grandchildren Cheyenne, Megan, Trevor, Kameron. Bill retired from CP Rail after 40 years of loyal service. He spent his retirement years in his garden, feeding his "squirrel" and "birds" or visiting his "girls" at Superstore. In keeping with Bills wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with the Rev. T. Hidichuk officiating. Interment of Bills ashes will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, if friends wish, memorial contributions in memory of Bill may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Society. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
